For God’s Glory
and the Care of His People
Initiatives carried forward in partnership with Christian partners worldwide.
“Together, we can ensure that the Christian community in the Holy Land continues to live, to pray, to serve, and to bear witness here in the land where Jesus walked, taught, died, and rose again. Please, open your hearts today. Let us stand as one family in Christ, carrying together the mission of love, unity, and faith in the Land of the Bible.”
Fr. Rami Asakrieh
Parish Priest of Jerusalem
Former Parish Priest of Bethlehem
Father Rami Asakrieh is a Franciscan priest of the Custody of the Holy Land (Custodia Terrae Sanctae), serving as parish priest of the Catholic community in Jerusalem under the leadership of the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa.
Throughout his ecclesiastical mission, Father Rami has dedicated himself to serving local Christian communities and preserving Christian presence and heritage in the Holy Land, having served as parish priest in significant Christian communities including Bethlehem and Jerusalem. For him, the Holy Sites are not merely historical landmarks but living places of faith, prayer, community, and hope, connecting millions of believers worldwide to the roots of their faith.
For decades, Father Rami has worked on behalf of local Christian families, raising international awareness of the challenges facing Christians in the Holy Land, among them economic hardship, the emigration of young people, and housing shortages, all pointing to the vital need to sustain a living, thriving Christian community in the land where the Christian faith began. He collaborates with religious leaders and clergy across denominations on local and international initiatives aimed at strengthening families through spiritual, social, and practical support, including housing assistance, scholarships and education, food and medicine, and the broader strengthening of community life. As part of his ministry in Jerusalem, he remains active in the Church’s prayer and community life, regularly celebrating Mass, including at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, one of Christianity’s holiest sites.
Father Rami views the collaboration with Melior Mundus as an innovative, professional way for believers and supporters worldwide to turn their connection to the Holy Land into meaningful acts of solidarity. Melior Mundus premium products are produced with members of the local community, helping generate economic opportunity and supporting the continued presence and sustainability of Christian communities in the Holy Land.
After purchase, in keeping with the nature and tradition of each product, items are brought for prayer and blessing at Holy Sites across the region, including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, and the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth. The aim is to offer the recipient more than an object of value, a spiritual bridge to the Holy Land, a tangible reminder of prayer, faith, and the sacred places at the heart of the Christian tradition.
Each product comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, affirming the connection between the product, the local community, and the mission behind it. For Father Rami, the certificate carries deeper meaning still, his signature is meant as a personal message of blessing, gratitude, and friendship to everyone who chooses to join this mission.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I greet you from the Holy Land, a place where faith is not merely remembered, but lived. This is the land shaped by the footsteps of our Lord, the voices of the prophets and the Gospel that carried God’s light to the ends of the earth.
Here, faith is woven into everyday life. It lives in every stone, every tree and stream. Yet today, beneath the beauty and holiness of this land, many Christian communities carry a heavy burden.
Years of uncertainty, the lasting effects of the pandemic and the ongoing reality of conflict and war have deeply impacted our people. Families who once depended on tourism now struggle to provide for their children and preserve their faith. Churches strive to serve their communities with limited resources.
As a priest and shepherd, I witness their strength, their faith and their weariness. I cannot remain silent and I cannot carry this mission alone.
I invite you to stand with us.
By joining these initiatives, you become part of a living expression of faith. Together, we strengthen the Christian presence in the Holy Land, not only through prayer, but through compassion made visible. Through your support, we uphold dignity, sustain families and help ensure that Christianity remains a living presence where it first took root.
Every prayer you offer and every gift you share, whether great or small, becomes an act of love planted in the soil of the Gospel. These acts bear fruit in hope, resilience and renewed life for generations to come.
Together, we can ensure that the Christian community here continues to live, to serve and to bear witness in the land where Jesus taught, suffered, died and rose again.
I ask you today to open your hearts. Let us stand together as one family in Christ, united in faith and shared responsibility, carrying forward the mission entrusted to us in the Land of the Bible.
With prayer and blessing,
Fr. Rami Asakrieh
