At Melior Mundus, we take pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and materials used in every piece we create. Each Product is carefully inspected before it leaves our hands, and we stand behind its quality with the following limited warranty.

Warranty Period

• Products purchased for more than US$300: covered by a 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
• Products purchased for US$300 or less: covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.

The applicable warranty period is determined by the purchase price of the Product, excluding shipping costs, taxes, and other charges.

What the Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise under normal and proper use during the applicable warranty period.

If a Product is determined to have a manufacturing or material defect covered by this warranty, Melior Mundus may, at its discretion:

• repair the Product;
• replace the affected Product or component; or
• provide another appropriate remedy.

If the original Product or component is no longer available, Melior Mundus may provide a comparable replacement.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

• accidental damage, drops, impact, or breakage;
• misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper handling;
• improper storage, transportation, installation, or use;
• scratches, dents, abrasion, or other normal signs of wear and tear;
• exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, perfumes, cosmetics, salt water, or other substances that may damage the Product;
• unauthorized repairs, alterations, modifications, or restoration;
• damage caused by third parties after delivery to the customer;
• normal aging or natural changes in materials, finishes, patina, or surface appearance;
• loss or theft of the Product; or
• failure to follow any care, handling, or maintenance instructions provided with the Product.

For Products incorporating natural materials, including stone, wood, or other naturally occurring materials, variations in color, texture, markings, grain, and surface characteristics are inherent in  the material and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Warranty Claims

A warranty claim must be submitted within a reasonable time after the customer discovers the defect and, in any event, no later than 30 days after discovery, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

To submit a warranty claim, the customer should contact Melior Mundus and provide:

• proof of purchase;
• a description of the issue; and
• photographs or other information reasonably requested to assess the claim.

Melior Mundus may request that the Product be returned for inspection before determining whether the issue is covered by this warranty.

The customer may initially be responsible for the cost of shipping the Product to Melior Mundus for inspection. If the warranty claim is approved and the issue is determined to be covered under this warranty, Melior Mundus will reimburse the customer for reasonable return shipping costs or provide an appropriate shipping solution, at its discretion.

If a claim is not approved because the issue is not covered by this warranty, the customer will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the Product to the customer.

Melior Mundus is not responsible for Products lost or damaged during return shipping when the customer arranges and pays for the shipment. Customers are encouraged to use a reputable shipping service that provides tracking and appropriate insurance.

Repair, Replacement, and Shipping

If a warranty claim is approved, Melior Mundus will determine the appropriate remedy based on the nature of the issue and the availability of replacement parts or Products.

Any replacement provided under this warranty does not restart or extend the original warranty. Any replacement Product or component is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Melior Mundus will make reasonable efforts to complete approved warranty repairs or replacements within a reasonable period of time. Shipping times may vary depending on the destination and the nature of the repair or replacement.

Sole and Exclusive Remedy

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the remedies described in this Melior Mundus Product Warranty. repair, replacement, or another appropriate remedy are the customer’s sole and exclusive remedies for any Product defect covered by this warranty.

Original Purchaser

This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the Product and is not transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing by Melior Mundus.

Important Note

This warranty is intended to protect customers against genuine manufacturing and material defects. It is not intended to cover accidental damage, improper use, ordinary wear and tear, or damage resulting from inadequate care or handling.

Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
